April, 2004, Medford, Oregon
The
Crowning Touch, Inc through its volunteer sewing groups has donated over
$1,000 in fabric, notions and labor to several charities in Medford, Oregon.
"We are so pleased to be able to support our community!" stated Emma Graham, secretary of the Board of Directors, and co founder of the company, "Our sewing club is just the Best!"
The Crowning Touch, Inc. offers free space and donates fabrics, sewing time and notions to the volunteer group of ladies. These customers of the retail store, Fasturn Junction, then create quilts and other items for donation to groups such as Access Medford--who provide shelter support and other service for those in need. This last year, CT, i. has donated $1,180 worth of items, including a canned food drive during the holidays. "Nothing feels better than being able to give back something to our community, and especially when it is items made with love and care." Said Mrs. Graham.
Anyone can join the sewing groups, and all are welcome to visit and learn more. To do so, call or drop by the retail store:
